Update on the Vegetarian Chili

by on Wednesday, April 18th, 2007

My roommate was gracious enough last week to get me a book from my wishlist, entitled “Meatless Meals for Working People” and in it was a simple but hearty recipe for vegetarian chili, yes the one i posted about a few days ago, and today i attempted to make this meal for her and i. I decided to add some meatless crumbles from LightLife, so the total grams of protein came to about 16, not bad for chili. I think i could have added more chili powder than what is called for in the recipe and also more seasoning on the crumbles. This recipe makes for a tasty, quick, and easy low calorie vegetarian meal. See my pics of the finished meal.
